In Mirror's Edge, right at the end of the mission Jackknife, there are these three pipes that you're supposed to jump horizontally from one to the next. One of the pipes can't be automatically jumped to though, for some reason. It's infuriatingly obvious and I have no idea why the game shipped with that bug in place.

The part in MGS3 where you have to escort Eva after she gets impaled on a tree branch.
Of course, it was actually faster to tranquilize her and drag her ass through the whole entire section, but fuck that whole entire section anyway.

I keep wanting to replay Dark Souls again but I keep remembering a select few terrible areas that I hate so I play something else instead. Catacombs/tomb of the giants and izalith/demon ruins could be completely removed and nothing of value would be lost

Smouldering Lake/Demon Ruins for me. I just hate how blatantly unfinished they both are. I'm really glad they're optional. Dungeon and Profaned Capital are probably my least favorite from the essential areas though, for sure.

Yeah, the dragon was piss easy and the only real hard part was the dogs beneath the bridge and those can be taken care of with a thief's ring and some timing.

The Dungeon was one of the cooler zones but Profaned Capital fucking sucks.
It's a poisonous swamp and a hallway, wow.
Also Yhorm was a letdown. Too much defense to fight him without the Storm Ruler, too little to make using it interesting on additional runs.
