Torps and bombers hard counter them because of their really poor turret value.
Only melta torp if you're going to hit their back, regular torps on any other part because of the high armor.

Or use torpedos, micro warp jumps and stasis bombs. That was how I beat the Space Hulk. Didnt lose a single ship.
