What's the point?
Only healthwise, and it doesn't matter when you can gank every single enemy.
One player gets the aggro, the other(s) can get behind and deliver comparatively more damage.
It's a safer bet overall.
Why would you do 100% of the work when someone else can do 200%
most bosses would go down in a minute or so if they had normal HP, especially when weaknesses are exploited

The game would be even easier if when you summoned enemies they had default health. You'd practically one shot bosses.

Having just 1 player can easily fuck over a group of enemies that would normally be considered difficult.
Even the abyss watchers, having one player can sway the battle so fucking easy it's a joke.
Which is why most prefer soloing for the challenge.

Dancer, Pontiff, Nameless, Champion and Dragonslayer Armor are the only bosses worth soloing.
