Before the new expansion whenever I played even casuals all I was up against was constant freeze mages, combo druid, and secrets paladins. There's no lobby system in HS. There is no way to just have some fun and play people who aren't going to be a colossal faggots.
Even Arena is shit. All I ever fight are Paladins. The amount of gold you would have to save for the adventures is a fucking joke and the dust you need to make even a single meta deck is almost always massive.

With the popularity of tier lists and the fact that Hearthstone is already RNG as fuck and drafting only puts an extra layer to that winning a lot in Arena is hard as fuck. Even some of the best arena players like Kripp and Hafu don't always make it to 7 or even 6 wins, think about that, you're expecting complete newbies to do better than pros. That's retarded.
It's more efficient and consistent to never go in arena at all.

It is free to play, but literally everything can be gained for free. You get a new deck every 5 levels, so you can have at least most of the cards by level 25. You get really generous quests as well, most of them can be completed at the same time (you can have up to 7 at once). Hell, one of the quest areas always gives the high tier quests.

Anomalus seems okay in a freeze mage deck, but I don't have Alextrasza, and Princess Huhuran seems like it would work well with in rogue deathrattle deck, but I don't have Slyvanas or N'zoth. C'Thun Warrior and Druid are better. Druid just gets the best C'Thun cards plain and simple. A broken as fuck taunt and thwn a 4/10 body for trading all day.
C'Thun Priest is too slow even for Priest and it has surprisingly little means of stopping people from just killing him early as it has to trade in a lot of its removal and taunts for C'Thun stuff.
Druid is the class best suited for C'Thun unfortunately. Everything about that class revolves around stalling and burst so something like C'Thun is well suited to it.

In opening the 13 free packs you get I got 0 legendaries and 2 epics if I remember correctly, maybe 3. I don't even think they were particularly good.
I took the 5600ish dust I got from disenchanting all the nerfed cards except my knife jugglers and one BGH which I feel might see play and crafted fandral, twin emps, and some c'thun support cards.
Maybe I was wrong to do that though. I died to face hunter a lot recently and while I haven't encounter much zoo yet I'm sure it's coming. I still have ~2000 dust left.
