PC Gamers truly are an infection. This is not a generalization, every PC gamer is a liberal autist. Fanatical. Liberal. Autists. The games they play are superfluous next to the social meta games played within the medium's community. Immersion, story, gameplay; these things don't matter. Framerate, graphics; these are just vain reassurances for a gamer contemptuous of his own hobby. Ribbing, seeking inclusion, validation through rabid, destructive behavior--destruction for himself or others, it doesn't matter as long as he gets Likes, Upvotes, (You)s, those are the true 1UPs for the PC gamer. Afterward the Frenzied Social Butterfly can bare to stand himself, his family, his job, his kids, his life for that much longer. Considering that not everyone is aware of the backup stuff, and maybe not everyone has actual backups of their savefiles, i think a whole good portion of people who got hit by Malcolm will be softbanned in the next weeks, unless they completely delete their characters and start anew.
