Fortune was terrible, Vamp and Fatman were okay though. I liked The Sorrow and The Fury. The Pain is too easy on any difficulty, and The Fear is glitched (you can defeat him by throwing a stun grenade and then shooting at him). The End was pretty good.

The Kerotan frogs are entirely optional. I recently started MGS3 over because I lost my save files. I played through the game without triggering an alert phase and got rewarded the stealth camo. The Kerotan frogs are for noobs.

Game balancing was a bit crap. MGS3 started the deleterious trend of more-is-better design in the series. It's a great game, but there really isn't a whole lot of tension in the sneaking for various reasons.

The gameplay is pretty drab. The animations after you "solve" a puzzle are nice, but the puzzles themselves are merely moving shit around until something works. The logic of a puzzle is frequently only revealed after the fact. The story is okay, and the animations are charming, but that's about it.
yes it counts as its own game. they literally made a better game than fallout 3 and added it as DLC.

What's dumb about it is that you're in close proximity to her (not like it's a sniper battle or anything), so you could run up to her and CQC her, but the game doesn't let you.
