it controls pretty well but i wouldn't choose ps4 version over the pc version unless your pc is lacking. if ps4 is your best option then its definitely worth the download though

1 and 2 are very different games so that is up to you. They are lacking features but are still solid.

4 is a straight upgrade of 3 so there really isn't a need to play 3 that bad.

5 I can't say that I enjoyed. They tried to make it this weird RTS hybrid which I don't think worked that well and has a lot of DLC which a lot of it is jewy as fuck.

Tropico 4 is definitely the best one. It's pretty much Tropico 3++, fixing all the issues of it while not providing too much crap content. I thing some middle ground between 3 and 4 would be perfect, but still, 4 with all DLCs (which contain massive content at reasonable price) is the best thing of the whole series

Tropico 2 wins the uniqueness competition, but it's connected with the series with basic mechanics and title.

Tropico, the original one, aged badly, especially when compared with basic infrastructure improvements of Tropico 3 and 4.

And don't even bother with Tropico 5, it's just pure and unrafined turd. Too much elements thrown together that are completely disjoined and divorced from each other. Plus absurd jewery with DLCs that add nothing important nor valuable
