Anyways you are right. It could have been Ciri doing whatever the fuck she wants to do with her powers or it could have been her child that she was supposed to have at some point we don't really know and I should have said that originally. This got me thinking we know that Ciri was supposed to have a kid that ruled the world or something like that but this clearly never happened with what we see in the books as fake Ciri married Emhyr . Could fake Ciri have some how fulfilled this prophecy or did real Ciri at some point after the events with Nimue fulfill this? Prophecy seems to always come true in the wticherverse but yet they can be difficult to understand. Just look at what was said about the death's of Geralt and Coen. Voorhis does become emperor after the death of Emhyr so I can't imagine fake Ciri somehow fulfilling this role though it is a cool thought which I guess means real Ciri will have a kid at some point that finds himself in power and rules the world.

All the little dialogue exchanges in 2 that was a result of your choices in 1 was added very late in development, and they never did anything truly complex, it was always just minor dialogue. It's also why they never actually bothered to balance the weapons/armour that transferred from 1, and why legendary stuff like Raven's Armour became useless part-way through Chapter 1, because it was all added right near the end and they didn't have the time.
Like Letho, if you let Sile live she says she'll disappear and Geralt will never see her again. I think when writing W2, they never actually intended for you to meet Letho or Sile ever again, but since they'd added the 1 > 2 carry-over stuff, the fans all yelled loud enough about how they wanted more of that in 3, they threw it in.
I still think what they did with Sile in 3 was ridiculous. It's not like she was seconds away from death, they could have gotten her out of there somehow and then patched her up. However it's absolutely not the fault of 2's writers, and what they did with her and that choice at the end of 2.

Yeah I realise it was probably tacked on. But it just seemed weird after playing 2 so many times and wondering how 3 would play out only for that aspect to seem so half assed. It's the same with Thaler showing up in 3 even if he died in 1. It was weird they even acknowledged him surviving in 2 with that letter so I kind of thought that would have some impact too.

Honestly there was a lot of half-assed writing in TW3.
It has some fantastic moments, and plenty of memorable, solid quests, but in general the quality of writing in 3 is not on the same level as 2, especially in regards to the main narrative. Perhaps it ultimately comes down to a failing of the open world, the sheer scope and size, but 2 was far tighter and paid much more attention to all the little details.
