I have no idea how they make the rest of the game look so good and yet the hair tech is miles behind DS1. Every hairstyle just looks like it's plastered on and painted with a solid color. The faces for 3 are miserably bad as well, and it seems like everything that looks good in the character creator looks like an abomination the moment you actually spawn in the world.
