I'm only at the Cathedral on my second character, but the rapier is straight out destroying everything. Even just on +2 with a flame infusion, invaders get wrecked the moment I connect a hit.

I really love Darklink shrine. Looking out into the abyss and seeing nothing but endless darkness is kinda scary in an eternal kind of way.
I guess the Dark Souls universe doesn't take place on a planet, but is a world where concepts are all concrete and the world is shaped by will and whimsy. The sun isn't a giant permanently exploding ball in space, it's light made by the first flame to illuminate the dark and push it away and that's all.

Aight, so you can see what I assume to be Lothric Castle from Firelink Shrine, but can you actually see Firelink Shrine from Lothric Castle? I checked outside the Twink Princes boss room since that's pretty much the highest point you can be in the castle, but I couldn't spot it anywhere.
So wait doesn't this all mean the game is a time loop? The game starts after you have gone back in time to link the fire and do nothing to save the current cycle, you only ensure that the current cycle can take place. But since in the last cycle it was too late you have to take the fire from the current cycle to rekindle the flame in the past.
That would make this shit super depressing because it ensures that each cycle ends with the fire going out, only to be saved by a time paradox that endlessly repeats itself, they fucking made NG+ canon, that's why its fucking called journey 2

When I use STR weapons, I take hits that I wouldn't have taken if I had chosen DEX weapons. When I started my first playthrough, I planned to use STR and DEX, but STR is way too fucking slow for me, so I dropped it.

I agree with not just that but much more. When you start comparing lore between Dark Souls 1 and 3, things get fucked. When you add 2 to the mix, nothing makes any fucking sense. I also noticed that in all the dark souls 3 threads we have here, everyone just pretends 2 isn't a part of the lore equation. Perhaps it's better that way too.
FROM made the lore so fucking vague and nonsensical, that even they themselves don't know what the FUCK is going on. The best we can pin point is what happened to whom, where when discussing 3 as a bubble without the others, however the details become muddy and conflicts abound when considering the series as a whole.
An easy one is, why are there still dragons when they were killed off? Why is Andre the black smith still alive? Why are we still linking the fire when doing it solves nothing and not doing it, solves nothing either?
