Id say legends has more sheer variety and better art and characters and hub but i like the levels and difficulty from origins more. Its really close but im going to just give it to origins. The murphy stuff made the speed running levels fun though, tapping B at a strategic time while keeping up with the speed was fun

I forgot how bland the moskito levels were. Gotta say, the musical levels were nice though, though I felt completely blueballed when I got 8-bit remixes of levels I'd already played instead of Land of the Livid Dead.
Both are GOAT platformers, cleared everything in co-op with the same friend

Fair enough. I played with friends for Legends, and we messed around with each other with it, intentionally trying to mess with each other besides helping each other at times. I feel Legends is a stronger multiplayer game because of it, but fair enough.

I unfortunately slacked on it for a couple years and only now bothering with it. Problem is the population is tiny so you have to work your platforming muslce to get gold. Platinums are near impossible when only 2-3 people get them nowadays.
I don't even know how the fuck some people get the speeds they do in the dailies. Leader has a three second lead on me and I don't know where they're getting it from Did all the tricks in the book that I'm aware of.

really invasion levels were to replace both time trials and tricky treasures at once, and while they were cool I preferred the origins system

Kinda wish the Invasion levels weren't tuned for 40 seconds.
They were rather easy in general outside of that one where you had to kill 4-5 enemies in a given room to move onto the next, but that was just trial and error in optimizing your movement pattern.
