Do people still play the older Call of Duties online on console?
yeah people still play 4 mw2 blops2. couldnt get a game on ghosts or mw3 and not tried blops1 for a while. lots of people on blops2
and i don't have cod3 or waw
No one plays 2 or 3, 4 to MW2 are filled with scripters and the rest have a few thousand players each. Black Ops and MW3 also have quite a few scripters but the playerbase is much bigger than 4 and WaW so you'll run into them less frequently.

Modern Warfare 2 is decent, but prone to hackers
MW3 Still has people
4 & World At War have a very tiny population and are filled with hackers (sucks because 4 was my favorite)

My dude who only has a Ps3 still plays Blops 2 regularly to this day
I can see games like CS or TF2 still having a playerbase but a game with no support from both community and developers still having players boggles my mind

It's playerbase is decent because it never got updated, Valve completely destroyed TF2 with updates.

I used to play xbox TF2 back in 2009 and its was pretty based. Would love to try it now days cause im sick of how over-saturated tf2 has become.
