That's good to hear. Yeah, that section is mostly streaming the aimed stars, while weaving through the lines of stars. If you have that many bombs, you should be fine with using one of your bombs on that section. Only one, though, you still want to save bombs for Junko.

Malice Cannon is overrated. It's more damage than you can get otherwise (although honestly solo Youmu can get close to that damage output), but either you have to stay still or your movement is awkward while you're doing it. Honestly, Team Border is more busted in terms of sheer survivability.I actually 1cc'd Lunatic with solo Marisa because I found her to be more effective than Team Magic.

But in all seriousness, just take a look at the credits.
In most manga, ZUN is credited as "原作", or Scenario.
What makes this noteworthy is that we actually do have an example of a manga that ZUN approved, but didn't write. Inaba of the Moon and Inaba of the Earth.
In IotMaIotE (god fuck that title), ZUN is simply credited as "原案" (the base of setting and character design).
This alone would imply that ZUN writes for the canon manga.
Furthermore, a few of the official games even reference the manga.
In IaMP, Marisa mentions Rinnosuke.
In ULiL, Kasen makes an appearance as a playable character, with several references to WaHH thrown in.
Hell, Fairy Wars happened as a result of something that happened in the Fairy manga.
And of course, there's the fact that he's explicitely credited as the author of several of the text based print works, such as CoLA and Grimoire of Marisa.

See, that's the thing, you can still take issue with that, due to the way artist/writer collaborations work. While the dialogue and story are by ZUN, the artists are allowed certain liberties with character design and the visuals. So if you dislike how a certain character draws a character, remember that it's partially the artists's representation of said character, and may not match up exactly to how ZUN envisioned the character. There have even been instances where the way something was drawn has conflicted with ZUN's vision, such as the way the Lunarian weapons were drawn in SSiB (Assuming Reisen's weapon in LoLK is Lunarian, it's probably what ZUN intended for the weapons to look like)That said, Nitori is probably short in canon too.

If you liked them that much you could dump all the items you want on them to try and improve them, but it's a strategy game with a huge and varied cast and the gameplay revolves around the officers themselves rather than the faction.

Marisa is actually pretty okay in stats, though her intelligence is actually 68-72 depending on if you give her some of the early game items or not, I mean I still wouldn't use her, but her gimmick is shared with Aya, them being fast units that can hit hard due to her high prowess stat, she also has high appeal meaning shes more likely to recruit units
