Hard to say, but I really hope Yooka-Laylee has the big worlds of Banjo-Tooie with being able to beat a world in one go like in Banjo-Kazooie
kazooies the simple and straight to the point but short
tooies the more open and long but in a bad way sort of
it's usually preference for these two. i just like the music.

I prefer Kazooie.
Kazooie's an actual collectathon. The main focus is exploring and traversing the levels to reach items with the occasional unobtrusive minigame or transformation to change things up. They didn't make up the bulk of the game's content. It was fun.
Tooie on the other hand replaces a lot of the exploration with shit minigames that aren't fun because they're almost all variants of "Shoot things" and completely change the gameplay. I fucking dread playing it when I think about the part in Grunty Industries where you literally have to shoot shit. It sucked.
