Sometimes I fantasize about a big collaboration game where your character visits all sorts of other game world. A common one is levels from Crash Bandicoot or Spyro the Dragon but the player is strafing around them at Doom speed doing Vanquish slides and power moves, but then he'd get weapons like the wumpa bazooka or Spyro's horns on a helmet for a charge attack in each level. Then it went crazy so you had the player ending up in Anor Londo, running into Ornstein and Smough for a bossfight but then Grace and Glory from Bayonetta join in too to balance out the increased mobility.
It's dumb but I like it.
