Are there any games that have a "future knight" aesthetic like Destiny does? I really dig it.
Ideally in that same first-person vein but anything works really.
Warhammer 40k sort of has that with space marines but it's a little less elegant.

Some of the armour in Destiny is fucking great. It's a shame I can't be arsed to play it enough to have a complete good set of armour as my highest level gear.
Hellgate London
E.Y.E Divine Cybermancy
Warhammer 40K
Tribes Ascend
Tribes in general
>>335948325
E.Y.E. of course.

I would absolutely love Destiny if it wasn't a shitty half-baked "drop in" pseudo-MMO

I'll check them out dudes, thanks.
E.Y.E. thread?

>Tribes Ascend
I...
I thought it was dead.
I've been out of the loop for a while, but I really thought I'd never get to play it again.
well fuck
>tfw still haven't played E.Y.E.
Would I be able to get into it nowadays? Are there any mods/community patches or anything that I'd need or can I just play the game straight away?

>kill confirmed
What the fuck did you do to your E.Y.E?
>>335950270
It may seem overwhelming at first, it's worth it though. Every system revolves around brouzouf.
>>335950180
you should be fine if you've ever played the original Deus Ex
>>335949981
Looks pretty dead to me.
I might have actually played the game back when it was released if I could've unlocked everything at once for a reasonable price instead of the zillion micro-transactions. Too late for that I guess.

I played through it last year for the first time. I had fun, don't expect to understand the story though. I struggled a bit at first but once you figure out how stuff works you'll be god-mode in no time.
>>335950276
I tried a mod that supposedly fixes the text. It's not really worth it though. It removes all the memes!
hey, how good does my pc have to be to run EYE decently? the one I have now is really low-tier, can I still do it

>>335950738
Nice, I'll definitely give it a go then.
>>335950841
If you can run HL2 you can run E.Y.E. basically. It's the same engine and IIRC the requirements are very similar.
>>335950912
I can run Morrowind and Space Station 13 if that helps
Those are the only games I've ever used my pc for
I played E.Y.E a while ago and fucked up my research and stats because had no idea what I was doing
Should I restart or just keep playing?
>>335948325
Shin Megami Tensei IV
I guess
>>335951045
Morrowind is really calculator tier these days so it's not a very good benchmark. E.Y.E. is definitely more demanding. Pirate it and see for yourself I guess. There might even be a demo.
>>335951131
How far along are you?
>>335949851
legs ok?
>>335951318
Alrighty I guess
It looks rad. I played Deus Ex a long time ago and this looks like that, so I'm sure I'll do ok
Hellgate London :)
>>335951518
it still hurts
>>335951318
I finished the game once, and got to the middle of the first mission on a second playthrough
>>335952787
If you managed to finish the game once you should be good. It doesn't get any harder. Just remember to only level up your legs from then on.
>>335953487
I just cheesed through it with the minigun and that sword that has a nice block
