Two games. Both alike in every way. One is 60 fps and one is 30. One is superior to the other. Good games can be 30 fps but 30 fps is -not- why it is good.
When a game is multiplatform and it performs better on one system, I get it for that system. When a game is an exclusive and it benchmarks lower than it can, I feel bad that it was held back.
I love OoT in all its 12 fps glory. Its better in 30 fps and even bettererer in 60.
This generation is overladen with action games and I legit do very much prefer those at 60 fps. I am used to it and the feeling for timing you develop. Going back to 30 fps feels laggy in comparison. Yeah you get over it and it's not -that- big a deal, but it is just an unnecessary limitation in the end.

I played the ''movie'' mode 1080p/30fps mode and literally haven't noticed a single issue with the frame rate at all. I've just been enjoying the hell out of this alpha, geared up, mark of conquer achieved and navigating the second level.
I honestly don't know why some people ave reached the point where they can only enjoy and play games if the number in the top right of the game hits 60. In fact, if you box yourself into this performance requirement, you're basically limiting yourself to multiplats on PC like annual asscreeds.
What would you rather play, ubi/EA stuff which are essentially AAA games with zero difficulty, quest markers, cinematic story telling, first person shooter #807 on PC and only playing these types of games because 60fps
