Megalovania's good but there's something about a boss theme that's sort of a remixed version of their previous theme for when they get far stronger and makes it personal.
Same reason why Battle Against a True Hero is better than Megalovania in Undertale even. And even then, it's not the best boss theme, that goes to Your Best Nightmare + Finale for the sheer feeling of finally turning the tables and gaining the advantage once Finale starts up.
Toby Fox certainly how to utilize his music, and the first time I heard Finale after surviving the six souls is one of the greatest boss experiences I've had. I may not be the biggest fan of Undertale, but fuck me if Toby Fox can't bring the hype when it was really needed.
