Post video games that aren't 'bad', but you just don't 'get'
I don't get The Legend of Zelda. The puzzles and combat seem very simple, and it just doesn't click with me.
Cave Story
It felt like a completely average platformer to me. No special moves or any interesting mechanic, just a few different weapons.
And why do people praise the story in this game? Granted, i didn't play until the end, but it felt like another run-of-the-mill game story as far as i got

Thief
I get that STEALTH is the point of the game and it introduces all these kinds of arrows and tools to let you STEALTH harder, but I found it easier to knock out/kill all the guards and loot the level at my own pace
Strategy games, I just get no enjoyment out of any of them.

Monster Hunter.
I played MH4 for 20 hours with a friend and while it was fun I don't see the appeal of taking 0.00005% of the monster health bar every hit while the weapon's durability is wearing down and health items are getting sparse. Seems like they wanted to inflate the gameplay time. It's just not very interesting to hit the same 'boss' with the same tricks for 40 mins. I don't mind long 'bossfights' but in MH shit just takes too long.
All FPS games. Guns just aren't really very "cool" to me, and the first-person view feels like the opposite of immersion, it's just constantly reminding me I'm a floating box with a gun in place of my nose.

I don't get how people can judge a game where you have to rely on four other people to not screw up as a test of skill. Meanwhile fighting games and even FPS are far more competitive but outside of a few examples they're nowhere near as popular with the casual audience.
