Animal Crossing would be an absolutely perfect launch title in almost every way.
Animal Crossing has become a top 5 Nintendo IP since New Leaf.
It's a game that lasts years that will keep people playing NX.
People (normies) will be excited for it because of the mobile game coming this year.
It's also been a good length of time since New Leaf launched so it won't feel rushed or anything and the series will be fresh despite recent cash grab attempts like HHD and AF.

I can imagine different classes of Toads and some familiar faces(Goombella) and weapons (Bullet Bill) against Bowser and the Koopas among other enemies.

I was thinking about the possibility of a game set in the Geist universe, where the evil corporation or whatever continues their ghost assassin plans. You would play as a ghost assassin, in a game thats half Hitman, half Ghostmaster. I think it would be cool.

They are already working on the next game, possibly XCX 2, and likely for the NX. I dont see it as a launch title, maybe a year later, anything earlier would be a nice surprise.

my thoughts exactly. .I don't know how people could be so deluded to have any expectations of Nintendo with their track record and projected path of emphasizing mobile. Wii U was a waste and there aren't any signs of good games or even the hardware being respectable.
