I like the idea of official support for emulation and official support for romhacking. Its great for the industry, especially since most companies are all "emulation = piracy". Its nice to see that some companies are more pro-consumer. Plus this is great for archivists.
I don't like pirating games and like supporting companies; these are THEIR games after all. So I don't mind paying a few bucks to play some old classics.

I dunno anon; I like the organization and details and pictures added onto the games. I know its not necessary; it just makes things look neat and tidy. Its just that PS1 games having .cue files along with the actual ROMs and multi-disc games make it a bit more complicated to handle. Most of the time it looks all right, and I actually prefer it in some ways since its much more convenient when it comes to opening N64 games in Mupen, which doesn't have a frontend at all and requires dragging files over it. With this I don't have to do that. So in some ways, this is actually better.

I believe the Toe Jam & Earl games are actually under a separate license from Johnson Voorsanger Productions, so they couldn't be part of the collection bundles (except for the EVERYTHING bundle)

Mine booted into my old external 15 inch monitor running at 1280x1024, but it was kind of cutting off the game title text under library view.
The only closest view option that works is 1280x720 which gives it a letterbox look, otherwise the view looked fine before even changing it.
So my only complaints are the lighting in the room regardless the time of day and the interface is a bit clunky/not-intuitive(Room setting via 360 controller is X for Room and A for time of day instead of a simple universal select the one you want with the stick/d-pad and hit A).
Heck I think in the main settings B doesn't back out like most menus/games, but is what you use to confirm settings.

I havent gotten much into the rom hack but it is significantly harder than the standard games nightmare mode.
I dont remember if I played the romhack with the game debug cheat menu and put it on nightmare on top of it.

Theres also an incredibly difficult romhack for Phantasy Star 4 you might be interested in.
