Ryu is garbage because he doesn't play like he should. It's throw loops and broken jp.lk at high levels. Otherwise he's just a turtle, and not a zoner, but a fucking turtle.

The game is shit because crush prevents you from stopping his mid punch combos. You have to block out the entire string, which leads to boring as fuck gameplay. Ryu and Nash are the worse offenders. Just keep mashing that MP and the opponent has no choice but to take it.
