Only beef was the ending was really abrupt, and not the kind of scene you'd end on if you already know what happened to the missing person.

I think a lot of it is volunteer shilling, not actual, legitimate, paid shilling. People have been following this project for years and a LOT of people were fans of Fredryk Phox's stuff in the early 2000's, or at least knew of it.
It's like, it's a good game. It came out of nowhere, captured peoples' hearts, and now they want everyone to know about it and know how they feel about it to the point of posting about it until the end of eternity.
