gunplay is basically Blacklight Retribution all over again.
two people can have each other in the crosshair and spam fire yet one gets an instakill because one of the bullets randomly went to the head of the other.
really retarded mechanics.
recoil is ridiculously wild as well to add even more to the rng.

Start with the 1st GitS movie, then the 2nd one.
First is from 1995 (DON'T GET THE 2.0 VERSION SINCE IT RAPED IT WITH SHITTY 90s CGI) and second is called GitS 2 Innocence.
Then watch the Stand Alone Complex anime, both seasons (SAC and 2nd Gig) then the epilogue movie for the anime called Solid State Society.
Then watch the Arise OVAs (1-4) and then the Arise Alternative Architecture episodes 9 and 10 (Episodes 1 to 8 are just butchered cut down versions of the OVAs, 9 and 10 are actual new content that serve as a bridge between Arise and the Arise movie).
Then the Arise movie called GitS The New Movie

It's not a remake. It's the OVAs cut down into TV episodes with some content removed to streamline it for the 20 minute episode format.
Anyway they did it as promotion for the movie. That's also why it has those two episodes of extra content in form of Ep9 and Ep10 which serve as a bridge between OVA4 and the Arise movie.
