GeneStealers are a special subset of Tyranid due to their legacy in other products.
They're typically acting independent of the larger swarm (or at least until it gets close), and usually just consist of purebreed Genestealers, grotesque hybrids, and the Brood Lord. I was and still am annoyed by the fact that they made the Space Marines so slow and clunky.
It's pretty well established in the Warhammer 40k universe that fully-armored SMs are lightning fast and have reaction times that are well beyond those of the average human (this, along with their size, is the defining factor in regards to transhuman dread).
This looks like the devs just took the lazy, easymode route instead of accepting the challenge of making lore-friendly Space Marine combat, which would actually be a terrifying thing to see.
This game will be fun for a few weeks, if that, then it will fall to the wayside due to mediocrity.

Gav Thorpe's name was on the cover of the 4th Edition Chaos Space Marines codex, which was a massive drawback from the previous edition. He can be very hit or miss as an author. When he's feeling enthusiastic, he can produce really good literature. At the same time, when he's just filling quotas his stories can easily become a slog of bolter porn and clunky plot twists.
