Give me one (1) good reason to buy AMD.
To stick it to the white-hating Jews.
>>335784987
it's drivers aren't bad
>>335784987
More cores.
It is cheaper than the alternatives.
>>335784987
CORES!MORE OF THEM.[/SPOILER]
>tfw bought an AMD CPU
>>335784987
If you're talking about CPU, there is literally no reason.
>>335784987
it's cheaper
works just as good as intel
>>335785246
But it's cheaper
i'm excited for polaris 11 (the lower power one)
looking to keep my mini itx cool and slim
hoping for a less than 150w power draw
>>335785323
And worse.
On the other hand, their GPUs are both cheaper AND better.
>>335785323
it's cheaper to buy a 2500K
t. person who bought AMD cpu
>>335784987
>AMD
>AMD CPU
>NVIDIA GPU
Good GPUs.
Dont buy their CPUs though.
I went with a mini ITX board and an APU for my HTPC. Some tiny ass shit that can actually cope with some games pretty well. I haven't actually used it for that many games after all but I can also expand it to use a graphics card and set it up for crossfire with the APU and believe it would perform pretty well which gives it even more scope for graphics performance beyond just the power of adding the graphics card alone
Quite an attractive solution.
GPUs are great
CPUs are meh
I am broke as fuck but I REALLY need to upgrade. Is GTX 960 the best option for it's price?
>>335786141
Unless you are retarded just wait for the next gen GPUs
I have a 6350 because my PC was originally a budget build. Looking to upgrade, should I go intel now or wait for zen? If I go intel is there much point getting a better cpu than the i5-6600K for gaming?
You don't get to see this fancy blue screen without an AMD gpu
