Which one did you prefer?
This is bullshit, DaS2 had way more options of freedom than 3
I prefer the interconnected world of 1 to both, though

How the fuck does this represent anything other than the amount of key items and bosses there are?
Like what's the key just sitting in a junction in DaS1? Is that the Lordvessel? Would that make the path going off of the line above it the Duke's Archives?
Why are there two paths going to (presumably) Anor Londo?

Why even put a legend in there if it's still obtuse and bereft of detail

Only if they start knight and get the ring and also the blue sentinel covenant I believe.
Maybe that's not from absolute get-go either, but it's early nonetheless.

it is 20 minutes into the game and you can have the rotating path that leads to the dickwraths covenant opened by that time too.
20 minutes into the game you can choose from 4 paths.

Dragonrider is cake so you can earn a ton of souls that way, if you choose ascetic as a gift you can get even more, and again more if you use the Tseldora set.
It's a list of requirements, but it is possible.

You can also rush to the last giant, i mean you can get to the boss with just running.He is pretty easy too but the Dragonrider is a lot closer.
All shit compared to DeS. They really should've gone back to that method.

It feels like they initially wanted to go that way with DS2, but gave up half way through and just lumped the areas together into an interconnected world. Hence the elevator into the flying volcano and the harbour under the ocean.

Btw i looked once at this map and saw some missing stuff.
They forgot to add the connection from Majula to the Gutter.You are not forced into going trough the Grave of Saints,you can skip it..
