I'm waiting for the new version which will fix the audio glitches and port Halo 3 shaders since those Halo 3 Armor and Weapon models looks terrible with those H4 shaders.
The audio glitches mostly though just make it unplayable for me.

ElDewrito has no weapon mods or such shit. It does have a fuckton of custom servers though.
It really is a mix of H3/H4 + Custom Edition.

The game supports controllers. Why does it matter what someone else uses? Its a console shooter, wouldn't you think a controller would be better suited for it then a keyboard?
The link provided in the OP gives you a direct link to the game. Download it and play. The only reason it will 'take awhile to get setup,' is because your internet is slow downloading the game. The lagging aspect again, depends on your internet. Why do you assume it will lag? The newest version supports dedicated servers.
