Mother suddenly goes into sceptic shock in the hospital. In a coma for 12+ hours. Have to leave at one point. Can't really talk to anyone at the moment and her limbs are dying and the smell is rough. Checked my psp and all I really had on my was Brave Story to finish up.
While the game is slightly different in that you have to save your friend whom is suddenly hospitalized, but the movie is one of my favorites and in it, the main character's mom us suddenly hospitalized and you have to save her. It was hard to look at the game for a while without thinking considering that fact.

I was streaming it for friends making fun of the janky controls and the randomly brutal transitions, then the end came.
How a game can make such an emotional impact using only a gimmicky control scheme is beyond me.
