Meanwhile, they confirmed 2 new mobile games: a Fire Emblem mobile game and an Animal Crossing mobile game. That’s 2 new mobile games VS 1 console game.

I bought a Wii U about half way through it's lifespan and I can say with honesty that the people saying "I regret buying this thing" are either falseflagging or bought it for like 3 games.
There are a lot of good games the console had, there were a lot of decent and bad games too, but I'd give most of my library an 8/10.

I have a theory all of that is filler. Star Fox has it's shortcomings, but it was originally a Wii game. So you at least know they tried. Atlus crossover seems to have a good gameplay at least but the AC shit, Paper Mario, TP remake and other smaller stuff were never meant to be.
They are there to fill the gap. Reusing assets to bloat the library. Because the Retro studios game and whatever in house projects they had in store were pulled from the Wii U. And that makes me even more upset. I'm certain a lot of the NX launch window titles will just be reworked U games.

I bought one mostly just so I'd have things to play with my friends and family all together at once. Wii U's choices for that still mostly limited to Mario games but there aren't really a lot of options for games like that elsewhere either, it's all mostly singleplayer + online multiplayer games these days.
