In reality, when you look at how many games Nintendo has been pumping out for both the Wii U and 3DS, they haven't been doing too badly at all. The new My.Nintendo rewards system is pretty great, only downside is that retail purchases don't get you coins (but at least this makes buying digitally feel a little better), and they still don't charge to play online.
Almost every outrage by 'fans' has just been falseflagging and blatant shitposting, just look at the censorshitposting for example. Nintendo fans aren't actually mad, in fact, most don't give a shit because changes in localization have always happened. 8gag pretty much died and lost all of its traffic around the time that there was a massive influx of shitposters trying to start internet activist campaigns to make Nintendo leave their lewd lolis alone.

Not every game can be a winner, every dev studio has made some stinkers before, and Nintendo has to deal with the fact that 3rd parties completely ignored their console, so they're almost supporting it completely on their own.
First people complained about not having enough games, now they're complaining about having too many bad games.

Newsflash, first party titles aren't a huge grab anymore. Third party titles are long. Just look at the amount of people that migrated from the 360 to the PS4. And the likes of Ratchet and Clank, Bloodborne, Uncharted 4 and Gravity Rush beat any Wii U first party title, with Smash being the only real contender.

I think you misunderstand, a .5 upgrade is entirely different to a full hardware revision, it's something Nintendo dose yearly with zero repercussions so its funny you think the .5 is a bad thing when your own console is actually getting a hardware revision and being replaced entirely meaning your existing one is actually forcibly being made redundant unlike the PS4. Nintendo consoles under go a typical 5 year life cycle of support (The wiiU's life is shaping up to be 4 years atm) where as every other Playstation to date gets support for at least 10 years and only gets truly replaced with the next generation.
I've enjoyed Bloodborne, Killzone, Infamous, Tearaway, Gravity Rush, Ratchet and Clank plus multiplats which I can play on the one console. The perks of having a PS4 of course is 8 hour long FFXV demo, the Paltinum demo and likewise with the recent Nioh demo.
The wiiU has also essentially had a year head start and their games target much much lower spec so they can me made quickly and more easily, Nintendo is essentially still making last gen games and that plus an additional year head start has given them an advance in the first party department. When their life cycles sync up however only then is it really fair to compare Nintendo's offerings to Sony which by then it would be even unfair to compare the two because Nintendos catalouge will be so dated.
One thing I agree with you is PS+ in its entirety is shit, nobody should have to pay for play their console online but with that being said, you can get PS+ for free if you don't have the intelligence of a fingernail,thus making the monthly free games actually free.

They didn't. The only worthwhile games so far are Xenoblade, Pikmin, Smash, Mario Kart and both Mario games. For anyone over the age of 18, Mario games got pretty stale ages ago.
