I liked Skyrim t b h
But I think that the "simplification" of Bethesda games is going to change with TES 6. I think that future Fallout games are all going to be like how Fallout 4 was, which was an attempt by Bethesda to create a Fallout themed Far Cry 3/Mass Effect 3 type game. Fallout will be their action game franchise and TES will continue being their RPG series.

The game is dull as all fuck vanilla, but mods can make it pretty GOAT tier regardless of what you're looking for.

I only liked Skyrim for the porn mods, and even those weren't as fun as the porn mods you could use in New Vegas (on top of NV actually being a good game to begin with).
