Was playing this game, having a pretty good time.
Then I was in the fire place trying to get her to join me and there was a mission where I had to guard her. She ran into some fucking boss right near the end of the mission and killed herself to counters.
Put the game down and really don't think I'll pick it up again. I fucking hate missions like that in tactic games. Why in a strategy game where I have complete tactical control over all units would I want a mission that fucking takes that away from me.

It's mostly a problem with how speed affects turn order. There were some turns late in the game where Rusty andGiselle with her buffswere taking 2-4 turns before Lisette and Veronica were able to take one. EvenDantegets outclassed by anyone fast enough to hit a boss more times or get to places faster.
It's also why some of the witches fall off or aren't even useful to begin with. Mordi died in nearly every fight I brought her into because she couldn't take turns to actually get away before most enemies took their mandatory two.

What was pic related for? I thought they signified the amount of people that needed to be alive for the angels to wipe out humanity, not the amount of people humanity accumulated as a whole.. They were slowly decreasing until the Anthem Program, where they all lit back up and the angels came crashing down.
I don't think Hilda managed to encase that much of the world by then if it did account for humanity as a whole. Otherwise, the plan of just killing the witches would've been much better because they'll die anyway if her actual plan was to encase the entire world.

She died with so many regrets, goddamn. She was always insecure and felt she was a puppet ruler while others made every decision for her. She's openly mocked by her subjects as an unqualified, incapable leader for things entirely outside of her control. She had no freedom, friends, or personal life. And she died at the hands of someone she trusted, believing in him until the very end.
Regent Elmar really bolstered her character as well. I think those two were really well done. They're set up to be generic, but by the end they felt like something special.

The game is pretty nice in regards to grinding. Lower level characters will get a ton of exp when they finish off higher level enemies. It's pretty easy to keep all your units at a consistently high level. Even if you never use them right up until the end, one practice map or two where you let a unit finish off enough enemies and they'll be right up there with everyone else.
