Playable Death Knights serve their factions and kngihts of the ebon blade kinda disbanded until now.
Keeping Bolvar in check is their new priority, Bolvar wanted to let the scourge loose on the legion but the Dks said no fuck that we will work with you in order to fuck up the legion.
So far it sounds pretty cool, like a playable scourge faction. Player dks get a super weapon of their choice and stop giving a fuck about being good guys, we help raise four new horsemen and there word Kel'thuzad will come back too.

There has always been a few things that have been cut for whatever reason, but most of those have either been minor, or cut very early in development. This time they didn't even have the base continent done by the release, and had to add Tanaan at a later point, with no other content added later.
