Because I'm a writefag and want to keep a consistent world with my writings, I have a bit of a headcanon (if you can call it that) for how they all live together. Wii-U, 3DS, and 2DS share a house, PS4 and Vita share a house, Genesis and SNES share an apartment (after a certain point, at least,) Ouya lives in an alley, etc... Others have said they think they live in company mansions, others have had similar household set ups, it just depends on the person.

Ultimately, I think it'd be better to go deeper, not wider; make it about like 6 or so tans, like the most popular and developed ones, and just make it about them. That way you can keep the scope of the game somewhat small, you can develop each arch more and make the dating aspect more intricate for each character, and you can keep the quality up without the game taking months to finish and then getting put on indefinite hiatus. Keep it a small project, get a few coders, artists, and writers, and don't let things get out of hand. Just my 2 cents.

The idea is that the tans all have small ports on the back of their necks (as well as Xbone's helmet) like SD card slots, and the mod-chips would be the explanation for things like female tans turning futa, breast expansion, gender bending, etc.
If there's no problems with the concept, I think I'll keep using it as an easy "logical" explanation for the crazy stuff that happens with the tan's bodies.
