I liked that too. They didn't feel like one-offs. Hell they all had different personalities. Like you could clearly tell the difference in attitude between the visor monkey with a helmet and the one without a helmet. It's gonna suck when one or all of them eventually kick the bucket.

I haven't seen any actual parodies get removed by Nintendo unless they were in direct competition with them via games. Like, for example, making an HD remake of Super Mario 64. Those Dorkly sprite parodies would be far more a risk than this.
One could argue that he profits off this show via patreon, but he isn't putting the show on a paywall so that argument falls flat. Donations are not equal to selling the brand as their own. Nintendo has literally no grounds to forcibly take this down since, aside from the characters themselves, they own none of the content. Heck the creator changed the name of the show to make sure it doesn't immediately pop up on Nintendo's radar.
Now Nintendo COULD request for it to be taken down, but Fredryk Phox could just say no to that since Youtube has no legal right to forcibly remove it. It would put him at poor standing with Nintendo, but that's really all they could do. Funny enough this is actually more lighthearted than the SFZ short.

Here on the other hand nothing that bad happens. The "action" sequences are off screen or short. During them there's still banter. It starts off with everyone just doing their job, there's no big anything going on. Not that we're aware of anyway. Falco, after much deliberation, learns Fox was kidnapped but the viewer is shown that he's not having that horrid a time despite what Falco thinks. Fox is literally sitting behind enemy lines chatting it up with Wolf and Andross, not handcuffed, not at gunpoint, he was even offered a drink and he's only in his shirt and pants because Wolf is fucking with him. I will say this however, the comedy is formulaic. You have your stoic setup, your quirky delivery and your awkward silence. That doesn't make it bad though, just very patterned, a scene and dialogue is only going to happen for the Straight Man Funny Man pitch, but better that than waste frames on uneventful pans of a city and its population, character introductions we already know or build up.
A few characters are also lacking in presence. Peppy, Falco and Slippy seem to be an afterthought. The script legitimately makes them magically incompetent and then competent to keep them out of the way or because there's no material for them maybe? I dunno. It needs way more work or time to get its legs but it's not bad.

I love how Wolf is chill as fuck for most of the film, even when he is getting shot down, but for one split second he looks fucking terrifying that even Fox gets intimidated for a moment.
This animation has limited movement but it knows when movement is needed. I like that.

Fox requests the PoW treatment, Wolf pulls out his blaster with trigger discipline. There are even opposite ends like Wolf's panic in the cockpit causing him to go hard on the yoke to pull up. Things Matthew Gafford(?) could have cut out but instead put in.

Apparently it isn't since you just did it. It's perfectly okay to enjoy a certain style, I grew up on Disney shit so I've got a bias towards it. I'm not looking to fuck them, or create a fursona or fursuit or any of that shit, bu I do enjoy watching cartoons and playing games with anthromorphized characters. I find them charming and just out of the norm enough that it feels a bit special compared to just normal people etc. Plus they're very easy to characterize around animal traits, making some characters influences and traits easily recognizable.
