In DAO Morrigan is sisterly as fuck and you teach her about friendship. Alistair is a top tier romance and it's another tough choice at the end when deciding whether or not to let your sis fuck your boo, which I did and afterwards Morrigan feels like shit for doing it. In DAI you lose out on Cassandra, but your romance options include Cullen, Blackwall and Solas - top tier picks and some of the most interesting characters.

Then you have remembered improperly as that mission you're talking about is his loyalty mission, and in it he strives to take revenge against his ex-co-worker Vido Santiago, because Vido had their men turn against Zaeed.
In the mission he's really determined to kill Vido, even setting the refinery they're at on fire in an attempt to kill Vido. Of course they're innocent workers in the refinery still, and a paragon Shepard can call Zaeed's actions out and change the mission to stop the refinery fire and help workers evacuate.
If Shepard stays paragon, Vido will escape and Zaeed will get angry at them.

It happens during his loyalty mission. The paragon option is to rescue workers from a burning fuel refinery while letting the bad guy Zaeed wants to kill get away, while the renegade option is to let them die to chase the bad guy.
