The bosses, and many of the random enemies for that matter, need to calm the hell down. They flail about more than the Bloodborne bosses did. Makes it difficult to get to do damage sometimes, and shields are too dangerous since they just blow through your stamina anyway.

I wish you got your covenants rewards for invasion. They should have had the red eye orb invade in the forest for Watchdogs. I can invade people super easy, but when I try and wait to get summoned to invade, nothing. Same with blue sentinels and dark moon, just invade worlds with phantoms already in. It's just like focusing on worlds like that with Sunbros.

The estoc doesn't need a nerf, Poise needs a buff. I usually roll out of it.
Recently though, because I was curious, I let this guy waste his full stamina bar on me and it took me down to about 1/4th HP left. A full stamina bar for only like 800 damage. I'm sure if he had buffed his weapon, I would have died though.
If poise worked properly, you wouldn't get stunned by those shitty pokes and you can punish for more damage than they put out. As it stands right now though, with poise being as shit as it is, it does make the Estoc look a lot more powerful than it actually is.

I've been only using my favourite polearm, the lucerne, for my quality build. I am so torn on my sidearm, as I really need fast weapons for the peskier enemies, but I don't know what, I'm also upgrading the pike, since I love that weapon as well, so preferable be something that has thrusting damage.
I used a rapier on my first character (and I had no idea it was so good, still don't think it hold a candle to the estoc), and the straight swords are neat with their stances, but people complain that they are good, so I dunno. Don't like the weapon art for mace, axe, war pick.
Also, that lucerne weapon art +heavy attack, running light attack, backstep light attack. So satisfying

How to fix Blue Phantoms:
Blue Sents: Get rid of Way of Blue entirely. Blue sentinels is now just a covenant of dudes watching each other's back. If a Blue Sentinel is invaded, one of his Blue Sentinel bros will come help him out. Invaders will give both the host and the blue a covenant item upon death. This means no third party to go through, rewards are plenty and you don't have to be the one summoned, you can just pop dry fingers and you and your covenant bros tear shit up as invaders come in.
Dorks: Give them back blue eye. Sin is a thing again and you accumulate it via invading and harming NPC's. Blue Eye invades regardless of boss being killed, but not unembered. This makes it more likely that you invade someone who recently successfully invaded someone and became embered, but not some guy just trying to clear the area for the first time. Of course, there will be fags that just kill themselves after every invasion, but there are also fags that unplug their shit when they're losing. I would hope it isn't that common.

I don't get people who liked Soul of Cinder fight. To me it felt like the most out of place shit in the game, like they came up with the boss two months before release. They'd been advertising the game using the firelink armor from the beginning, essentially spoiling the last boss for everyone. It's like they meant to use that armor as the fluted/EK/faraam equivalent, to be the poster boy armor, but saw how people didn't like it that much and decided to recycle it for some other purpose.
Plus there was no buildup to him. In Dark Souls 1 you heard about Gwyn from the very beginning, you had the time to think about what kind of a cool boss he'd be to fight, only to find him turned into a husk, and the sad music made that encounter really powerful.
The same music being reutilized in Dark Souls 3 felt fucking cringy. This is not sad, there isn't a sad story being that character. The fact that Gwyn is one of the who-knows-how-many entities making up the Soul of Cinder doesn't make me sympathize with what seems to be a mindless, motivation-less boss. The entire fight just like "lol u remember dark souls 1 final boss and how much you loved that music? let's have it again!" to me
And I'm not one of those faggots who are against anything coming back. I felt like the Anor Londo thing was handled perfectly, with the subplot of older deities being devoured by Aldrich and all. I'm perfectly fine with them bringing back areas like Demon Ruins or darkroot garden if they can make it work and expend upon those. But when it's nothing but blatant fan-service, it really triggers my autism.

The Painted World isn't even there in Anor Londo anymore. Pontiff locked Gwyndolin in the cathedral for Aldrich to eat, and Aldrich was said to have only recently left for Anor Londo.
