I think this because marth needs spacing to succeed. falcon is the fastest character in the game. any falcon worth a damn knows how to dash dance around marth's big ass sword, and then punish marth's lag on his moves. mistimed fade back nair, forward smash, or down tilt = knee to the face. marth also has a really good punish game on falcon but marth has to grab him, and its harder to grab a faster character than slower one.
the reason why i bring up playing marth vs a good falcon is because you will feel suffocated and stuffed all the time, you're going to feel like you're swatting at a really fast fly in the air with your sword. if you hit it, you might kill it. but if you miss, you get rekt.
its only slighty in falcons favor because marth can in theory with good timing wall falcon out with fairs and stuff falcon's approaches with down/forward tilts and tech chase, and then make it really hard for him to get it back. if falcon could sweetspot/had better recovery it would be 65+
