You've got archetypes that are pretty moba or mmo esque. The healer, the assasin, the dps, the tanks. Not as strict but its a hell of a lot easier for someone like rheinhardt to tank and walk a payload than it will ever be for the heavy in tf2 to do the same.
Spy and Scout ain't got shit on how much easier it is for Tracer and Reaper to flank and annihilate the sniper.
I found playing the more general classes helped make up solo que randoms being retarded when my friends weren't on.

There are heroes with higher skill ceilings than other. There are also a few with notable skill shots (Roadhog, Hanzo). To me, it seems like it's going to be one of those games where it's easy to begin, but you have more difficult but more rewarding heroes as you get better.
