Mass Effect 1's soundtrack was heavily influenced by Blade Runner
Human Revolution and hopefully Mankind Divided

Of all the Konami properties, I'm most upset that Kojima won't/can't acquire this one.
Silent Hill is a close second.

This should take care of ya for awhile. Other than that, Legend of the Dragon as well I guess
>>335063483
Blade Runner was shit.
>>335064914
quite rude desu, we're discussing games that are like blade runner, not your opinion on it
>>335064914
Why?
>>335064627
do the new shadowrun games resemble it, because iv heard theyre quite good
How does the Blade Runner game hold up today?
I have fond memories of playing this with my dad while I was a wee lad.
honestly fallout 4, the only part is that it doesn't have That Gun
If you don't mind more lighthearted approach, Tex Murphy games are kind of similar.

it's been a while since I played genesis shadowrun, but as the new ones are linear with your party decided beforehand (aside from Returns and the ones you don't HAVE to recruit in Dragonfall and Hong Kong), I'm gonna say no
I still think the games are worth a playthrough, especially dragonfall, but I don't think they're like genesis SR

>quite good
Dead Man's Switch was mediocre, with non meaningful choices and very linear. Only a couple of classes were really good, a bunch were useless. Dragonfall improved on having better story, and decent variety of play styles. Hong Kong had a better hub world, but overall pretty similar to Dragonfall. Decking is stupid in all three of them. They are all rather linear, and never come close to capturing the feeling you got from the one on the sega. They are decent at best unless you just love cyberpunk and the old Shadowrun games.
If you really like cyberpunk themed games and turn based SRPG (like xcom), then it is worth it. But start with Dragonfall. Deadman's Switch is not worth it since the others improve over all of it's flaws, and the stories are not related other than it all takes place in the same world
I'm pretty sure the video games weren't their biggest priority, and the main thing was to get the table top Shadowrun games going again.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
Mirror's Edge Catalyst seems like a "clean" version of it
Cyberpunk 2077 will for sure look like Blade Runner
>>335063483
Prey 2 had a similar art style.
>>335065563
>fallout 4
>having anything to do with blade runner
>>335063483
Fallout 1 and 2 really remind me of blade runner.
>>335067948
it still hurts
>>335067007
> Cyberpunk 2077
yeah im hype for this but looks a long way off
>>335067948
please dont remind me of this
>>335063483
Reminder that Blade Runner 2 is being made for some reason.
E.Y.E Divine Cybermancy has a completely different kind of story and setting but its areas and atmosphere are kind of similar to Blade Runner.

plus it has CYBER LEGS

Denis Villeneuve is a promising director though, and Harrison Ford seems like he gives a fuck about acting again.
I'm cautiously optimistic.
