I'll be getting it because it will be comfy going flying around on my little ship pew pewing animals from the sky. This will be a comfy walking/flying simulator.
I will 100% pre order ittwo days before launch incase of any last minute reveals its unplayableto get that ship and extra stuff.
I'm okay with the average graphics and potential for it to be repetitive, because i know i'll enjoy the grind for better upgrades and exploring planets.
I'm super excited for landing on my very first planet before I know how the game/mechanics really work.

It's about flying around the galaxy from star to star, planet to planet, all procedural generated. It's a bit of a survival game, you farm elements to upgrade your weapon space suit and small personal ship. You will find life on some of the planets. The over arching goal is to reach the center for some unknown reason. The closer you get the harder the game gets supposedly. The life gets more alien and weird but you'll find better elements to further upgrade your shit. Biggest gripes so far are the procedural generation won't give enough variety and you'll start seeing pallet swaps of the same planet and animals that you find. There's no multiplayer despite what anyone might say which depending on your gaming playstyle may or may not break the game. You can learn alien languages so you can trade with them. That sums it up i think. Now gtfo the thread before it becomes a hot mess.

Watch the vid where he answers if it has multiplayer, a recent one. It's such a dodgy answer, the dude is worse than politicians. Just a yes or no. People are hyping up all these features they don't know if it will have. And also preorder bonuses, are you kidding me? I bet this thing will get dlc too, wouldn't be surprised if they try micro transactions after it flops too.

This is why we dont get good exploration games, or risky games that try something different. Even if NMS sucks people shouldn't blast it until we actually get to see people playing it because thats then only moment where we will know if they succeeded in making exploration good.
How do you market something you cant tell people because your game is they need to find it? The only issue this game could have is that it doesnt have anything for them to find in the first place, but we wont know until release.

I will not be getting it, because I was initially under the impression that players could influence the game world through establishing trade routes and mining facilities based on what a dumb friend told me. Since these are not features, and playing multiplayer with friends isn't an option, my dream of operating a mercenary team who fucks up rival trade routes for cash is dead on arrival.
