I prefer it that way instead of Dark Souls 1. The only thing that saved end game of the first one was Artorias of the Abyss DLC, which had 4 great bosses.

Bloodborne was A-team with help from Japan Studio, same as Demon's Souls, why would it not be good?
Dark Souls 3 being as good as it is is quite the Achievment. BB started development as soon as Artorias DLC was finished and it came out in 2015, DaS2 and 3 came out with only an extra year.
As much as it enrages /v/, Sony is by far the better publisher, not only are From given extra people to help, but the budget is probably far bigger and longer dev time. Sony also treat the game with some respect in its marketing and not "Prepare to Die, Slashy Souls, Chiken Wings" etc...

I found his emulating player playstyles design pretty good, also dodging applies to 95% of attacks of any boss. Maybe he wasnt the fastest but I really liked the way they handle him, although the setting could be more original I guess.

It didn't feel like I was fighting a player aside from the curved sword which barely any invaders/npcs use. It felt like a big invader with really generous dodge windows.
I think that SoC is pretty much tied with Gehrman as the best final boss.
