I find Senran Kagura fun, Bravely Default is great and I've heard good things about Monster Hunter. There are tonnes of games on the console, Virtues Last Reward is also apparently amazing.

I won't. It's always the same with posts like this. You ask for x examples, just to disagree. Make up your own mind. Like I said I seriously looked into the Vita catalog, simply because I'm not some brainwashed idiot who religiously follows own company or another. If Vita more had games that I was seriously interested in, I would have loved to get one since the system has better hardware and I could have gotten it for cheap. Too bad that the 3DS has more games that I enjoy.

the port added extra equipable item slot and very slightly reworked the water temple to make the key everyone skipped more obvious. also built in master quest. other than that i really dislike the new lighting, it ruined the mood of a few sections for me. still a good game though.
The majora's mask port is a disaster though, absolutely avoid it.

In the adult time the world is supposed to be all fucked up and a lot of the color is faded and some sections are in permanent night time. But the 3ds new lighting makes everything brighter.
The biggest example of this is in the original you fight ganon at night in a raging thunderstorm, but in 3ds you fight him in like a sunny afternoon. Its really stupid.

Fantasy Life is often overlooked but it's pretty good.
If you're the type who wants to squeeze the most time out of a game for every dollar it's worth, Monster Hunter games are great in that regard. Each G-Rank game (in the case of the 3DS, 3U & 4U) is an easy 300-400 hours gone if you have some people to play with.
Generations is coming out Q2/Q3, it's a high rank game though it should offer plenty to do for what it's worth.
