ITT: Bosses that everyone beat on their first try

Indeed. But why is his armour so shit? Just bought the set and it has some appalling stats. I don't like the way shit like that doesn't make sense sense. If a boss has Hugh defence in the fight, it should at least be partially due to the armour they're wearing. But nope.

>wearing armour for the stats
Dark Souls III is basically Bloodborne in that regard. Just go for style, poise doesn't work and the damage reduction is a joke.

I was close but I got greedy and went for the last hit, unfortunately I was using a Giant Machete and the startup of the attack was too slow and I got hit.

that's not oceiros

Actually that's bullshit. Stronger armour with better stats does give you noticeably better defence. I've tried it out on numerous occasions and often switch out my regular armour pieces for something stronger when facing a boss.
Manus. Took 20 estus and 2 humanities but I managed. I don't think I've even managed to beat him a second time.

its only few percent difference between most armor
best armor I have tested has around 30% reduction in all resistances and most have between 15-25

the only good boss in the entire game, and he was an optional fight in the DLC

Literally easiest boss in dlc. Chimera was more difficult
