A tip for you anon: if you strafe left while locked on to BSB all its attacks miss. You don't even need to dodge, just keep walking sideways and hitting its back until it dies.

A Raiper just doesn't work in Bloodborne. It's fighting style does not fit the types of enemies you are facing. It has its specific uses, but it just doesn't feel good to me.
