2 is way longer, it comes on two discs. Visuals and gameplay is 100% the same but roughly 40% of missions is sneaking around and stealth shit. SF3 is way more action.
Recommended as fuck. Sf1 is also great.

I'm glad my post could spark such discussion. Syphon Filter is easily one of my favorite games of all time. Shame the franchise went to shit. Gabe Logan is way more likeable than Snake although he's a close a second for me.

I am more mad that ps2 (psp) SF games were shit. I mean they were mediocre TPS games that were enjoyable but they were generic as fuck and had nothing SF-like about them. That, and the fact that they changed Gabe's VA triggered me too much.
I might be crazy but I think ps1 trilogy aged like fine wine and is very playable even today.
