That little animation felt so rushed and it just looked ugly.

It's sad, really.
I partially blame the fans for wanting and only wanting a Star Fox game like 64, then Nintendo gives them what they been wanting and no one likes it.

For whatever reason, Japan likes they're cel-shaded/cartoony cg to have low framerates.
You look at the Saint Seiya CG movie and it's nowhere near choppy, but realstic is design.

If that doesn't let Nintendo take a hint and make a new F-Zero, I don't know what will.
I think the animation was pretty cute, and i like that they want to add a clear plot.

It was a great short. The voice acting and action sequences had a really nice energy to them. If Nintendo were to roll out for a complete mini-series I would be 100% behind the idea.
An episode with Starfox taking on Starwolf with all the voice actors, would be a dream come true. Banter levels would be through the roof.
It's weird how they had an anime short tie-in at the same time FFXV did... Is this a new trend?
Same with Overwatch and Ratchet & Clank I guess
