Apparently the director booted some of the original writing staff and replaced them with new ones who understand cinematic scenes better. He doesn't want to see another VN that goes under the radar, but a proper game instead.

Im not against a fully animated novel I actually think its the ideal evolution for VN
but either you have to animate them probably or just stop
half assed job like in the trailer hurt the game more than just a still picture with description and it cost more
