Path of Exile... worth trying out /v/?
This game caters to min-maxing autists, grinding lovers and theorycrafters
If you fit even one of these categories you'll find it enjoyable.
It has a slow start but the gameplay gets faster and faster the more you level up
Be prepared to grind a good hundred hours if you want your build to actually work since you'll need at least a 5link.
It's more work than game though, not worth it in the end, at least for me.

You have to invest time into it or have greater market manipulation than a Jew to use the fun builds.
Beginning is boring as shit and the skill tree can be very confusing but the game ain't half bad.
you only need to plan very well your build
Defense > Offense > everything else
absolutely no reason to grind until you're bones
unless you're too autistic to trade with people
you just can grind for chaos orbs and get good gear at the endgame

You need to pick your build, items and etc before you make your character then spend the next 40 hours trying to fill in your spreadsheet to match. If that appeals to you then yes.
Know what you're going to do and experiment when that fails.
Try out everything you find, see what you like and mix it together.
You need good trading skills or enough time to grind for orbs.
if you like grinding for gear, you'll like PoE
if you like autistic theorycrafting and coming up with tons of builds in a hyper complex character and skill system, you'll like PoE
if you like trading in entirely player-driven economies, you'll like PoE
otherwise you will probably lose interest before reaching endgame.
All of the above is true. However, the game is still enjoyable as hell if you copy a build from a guide on the forums. Minimal trading, grinding, and theory crafting is necessary if you go down that route.
